  • No Botox around the brow area 2 weeks prior.

EYELINER

  • You MUST remove any lash extensions before arriving at your appointment.

  • Remove any eye makeup before arriving at your appointment.

HAIRLINE

  • Wash your hair in the morning of the appointment as you will not be able to wash for 2 days.

Not adhering to these instructions can impact your end results:

  • No excessive alcohol consumption 24 hours before your procedure.

  • Avoid sun and tanning one week prior to procedure.

  • Discontinue use of Retin-A in the treatment area one week prior to your procedure.

  • Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 24 hours before procedure.

  • Do not drink coffee or any caffeine on the day of your appointment.

  • Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

After Care

Please follow the instructions to ensure proper healing and the best possible outcome.

  • Do not wash your face for 5 hours post procedure. You can wash your face anytime after 5 hours as long as you wash gently around the treatment area.

  • No make-up application on the treatment area until the scabs have peeled off completely (approximately 10 days).

  • No sun tanning, swimming or excessive sweating.

  • No moisturizer, makeup, creams or sunscreen on the treatment area.

  • Do not rub or pick at the dry flaky skin/scab.

  • A minor splash of water is allowed to keep the treatment area clean.

  • Do not rub treatment area and gently pat dry.

What you will notice in the next 7-10 days:

  • Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days.

  • Slight stinging sensation in the first few days is also normal.

  • The treatment area will start to form scabs and they might look dark and thick. As the skin heals, the scabs will fall off in random pieces and might look patchy throughout the week.

  • Flaking and crusting of the skin may occur.

  • The colour will fade approximately 30% - 50% when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal. Do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected. The colour will become darker 1-2 weeks after ALL the scabs fall off.

A touch-up appointment is usually necessary and can be completed between 5-8 weeks from the initial appointment.
